" The most interesting postage stamp of New Zealand"
is how R.J G Collins described the two shilling Captain Cook stamp from the 1935 pictorial set.
Of its 120 single impressions, it is through its flaws, graver slips and re-entries, one is able to attempt re construct the first plate.
On the following pages I give examples of many of the flaws, where there are gaps, I will endevour to complete when I find examples.
